I am a MSc. student interested in neurobiology, cognition, and animal behaviour. I completed my BA in Biology (Honours) degree in 2024 with the Behavioral Ecology and Conservation Research Group at Universidad del Rosario, Colombia. Currently I am working with the Animal Cognition Research Group for my MSc in Psychology at the University of Alberta.
I am intrigued by why animals exhibit certain behaviours, the choices they make, and the significance of these choices in both environmental and social contexts. My bachelor thesis focused on the process of social integration of new individuals into already established groups in guinea pigs.
Apart from my academic pursuits, I engage in literary activities, both reading and writing, and enjoy taking walks in nature.
